Pedal Switch Noise

Just bought a new distortion pedal from www.metalpedals.com and though the pedal sounds awesome the pedal gives off a loud and noticeable clunk when turning it on and off. Where can I get a replacement switch that will be less noisy and are they difficult to install.

Cheers

I was evaluating a Maz 38 senior 2X12 combo and a Maz 38 senior head and cabinet. I ended up buying the 2X12 combo with the cabinet. One reason I did not buy the head is because for some reason the reverb had a bad buzz, especially when turned up. But something else that the head did that the combo didn't was whenever I stepped on the foot switch on my wampler hotwired overdrive pedal there was a big clunk. The pedal is a 2 channel, over drive having a separate foot switch for each channel. Both foot switches made this clunk. The combo does not exhibit this behavior.
I would check your pedal on a different amp first. When I called Dr Z about this issue his reply that it could have been a tube in position 1 or 2. I never checked as I was only evaluating and decided to return the head.
