xotic effects????
OK... Who has tried these. I did a tdpri search and there is not much info on personal experiences with these things. The xotic company is linked to the joe barden page at the bottom. The xotic site has excellent clips of studio guitarists using their three pedals ac boost, rc boost, and robotalk. The rc boost sounds kind of like a klon or a sparkle drive. The ac boost sounds like a really good tube screamer. At least that is what the web site leads me to think (maybe I'm getting the ac and rc thing mixed up too). The robotalk sounds cool but gimicky. Has anyone tried these.... they do seem expensive at $195 each. I'm tempted by the ac and rc pedals but the price seems supper high so it would probably just be an rc if I was feeling adventurous.

the AC Booster is awesome
I love my AC Booster. Works great w/ my MIM Tele '72 Thinline, my '62 Esquire Custom :) , and my white Tele w/a Tom Holmes PAF in the bridge.. For low gain, I prefer the KLON but for more than a mild Knudge- the AC Booster is REALLY musical !! :D
