Morley JD-10 question
I finally was able to snag one of these units off eBay and have high hopes that it will be a great grab-and-go solution with my ultra-clean Peavey Nashville 112 SS amp (normally a steel amp).
Anyway, my first question is pretty simple: would it be better to set the Peavey's tone controls flat and use it between my Tele and the main guitar input (no other pedals used), or should I bypass the Nashville 112's entire preamp section and go straight into it's power amp input? I'm probably overlooking something, but I see the advantage to going directly into the power amp input as repeatable tone even if the amp goes south; but I'd be giving up the Peavey's reverb which I've kinda come to like. Opinions appreciated. |
