I finally did it!
After hemming and hawing for a long time, I finally bought a Soldano Supercharge. It came yesterday and it is #$%#$% awesome! Lot's of depth, plenty of gain, sweet crunch, very versatile. I think my Radial Tonebone just lost it's place on the pedal board.
Plus it's purple! I've never one in that color before. I got this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ory=10171&rd=1 |

Tim, if ya get the chance to run
that Soldano through a 1X15 Combo I'd
really like to know what your thoughts are. I've always liked Mikey's stuff but could never justify the purchase since I seldom play that style of music but things are changing, the snow's about to fly and in no time we'll be flooded with Boarders and Two-Plankers which means the Bars are gonna be catering to more than the usual "stool birds". What I'm curious to know is can you get that sweet "E.C. plays Albert King" tone like on "Forever Man".
