different ones

who else uses two different od pedals in their board? for mild grit i use a keeley bd-2 and for rockin distortion i use a fulltone mosfet edition fulldrive.
the fulldrive replaced a ts808 that i regret sellin. who here has multiple distortions for different tones?

I've often thought about putting another distortion or OD pedal on my board. I use the original Bixonix Expandora for lead tones a lot.... it is really a great pedal that can go creamy smooth and still give good squeal when you dig in. But i've wondered what other pedal to put on that would be different enough to create more options. Hopefully, I'll hear some good suggestions on this thread too! Thanks folks!

what kinda second-distortion tone you want? for light grit and punch i say a tube screamer or blues driver, for heavy i would advise a ds-1, fulldrive, or jekyl and hyde.

I've been using a TS808 clone into a Big Muff Clone lately...

On my main board:

Bad Bob -> HBE PowerScreamer -> Barber Small Fry -> BB Preamp

On my small, grab-it-and-go board:

Tonefactor Copperhead (dual boost) -> Barber Burn Unit EQ

i have used two overdrives a landgraff in the 808 mode and a texas two step i used the texas two step for light breakup and the langraff for screaming i didnt really like the boost section of the two step

i replaced the two step with a eden analog austin and now my langraff is off the pedal board when i need more od then what the austin does i click on the treble full boost or the compressor
