Does anyone use the boost on the Fulldrive?

Just curious, I originally bought a Fulldrive (a long time ago) because it was a "2 in 1" pedal. I love the first channel but have never found a good use for the second, mostly because I can only set the level (nothing else). So does anyone use it?

Just curious.

I use mine all the time. The I use the overdrive "half" to add dirt to either a clean amp setting or really dirty up a "just overdriving" amp. The boost is set to push everything to lead territory. I don't use the comp cut setting as the pedal is much more "amp like" without the compression.

With a ss amp, I think the boost would only allow a volume bump for leads. With a tube amp, it does wonders.

mine also gets regular use, with boost set to 1 o'clock.

I've got my amp set at breakup, so I usually use only the OD side of the FD2. However, if I want heavier gain, like for some ZZ Top or 80's hair metal, the boost does wonders. A little noisy with my amp set the way it is, but still cool.

i use leave the boost on all the time. when The boost by itself does nothin until left side is on. i prefer both at all distortion times with an occasional added bd-2 in that mix

same here...

i use it to get more of what the od side was already leaning towards...and with my rig that boost side gets ALMOST as dirty as a RAT. i'm a big fan of the fulldrive...
