Holy Grails have grown noisy...

...Can anything be done about it? I have 3 of them and they've all developed a whining noise. Does anyone like Analog Man or Keeley do Holy Grail mods? Can they be fixed?

Tom

My experience with two UNHOLY Grails indicates that they were always noisy.

Good pedals in my experience have been the Line 6 Verbzilla and Marshall's Reflector.

Ultimately I bought a Fender 63 Reverb.

I fixed mine by giving it away. After two replacement pedals, 3 replaced/burned out power supplies. Enough was enough.

I tend to go with the tried and true favorites. I was all set to buy the EH Holy Grail but after reading all the noise and reliablities problems I'm going with the marshal Reflector. The sound clips on Musicians Friend sealed the deal. I liked the sound of the Reflector best.

I have the Reflector, very nice reverb.

I've never had a Holy Grail, but did own a Wiggler, it was noisy, sent it to EHX for repair and was told "they are all noisy, yours is no noisier than the new ones coming off the line." That was it as far as EHX is concerened for me.

Too bad- awesome sounding effects, the Wiggler was a great trem/vib, but I can't stand noise issues.
