No I haven't and let us know what you think. I know the old yellow DOD 250 overdrive was little to be desired and Yngwie was the only person I know of that ever liked them but his was used as boost for his cranked 50 watt Marshalls, I think they were pretty weak as a stand alone pedal. It might make a good boost but I don't remember people buying them all up.

you must have at least a tube amp to get something good out of it or as a boost pedal for another od or distortion pedal. the badmonkey is just a few bucks away, that would be an ever sweeter thing if you like ts type sounds.

Crap. Bought one on a whim, because it was so cheap. Very nasal, very noisy. I've seen where with a couple of mods they can sound really good, and I even considered doing it for fun, but in the end it wasn't worth it.

The only good thing I've read about these pedals is if you want to sound like Yngwie, they ARE good for that...provided you have HS-3 pickups in a strat & are plugged into a cranked Marshall.

i still wouldnt mind checking it out for a boost i keep my vox clean with a little hair and thats usually at half mast. when i found this i was actually looking for the krispy kreme treble booster maybe this thing will end up to not be as bad.
my friend has a bad monkey and my other has the BD2 but to me they sound a little woofy. id rather be able to set my tone on my amp and not have to worry about tweaking my pedal at the same time, just click and have a little crunch so i can do rhythm.
