MXR Double Shot Disto - anyone like it?

I purchased one a few months back, and I must say... after trying it live and in bedroom/practice rooms I really don't care for this little beast. Now, I'm all for quirky pedals that have idiosyncracies, but this one just doesn't really cut the mustard. Channel one has an extreme mid hump and little bass (even with the bass dial dimed), and channel two is all crunch, with no mids (even with the mid dial cranked way up). Anything other than extremely low gain completely colors the tone, not in a good way.

Thinking of selling it. I was just curious if anybody here has had good experiences with this pedal.
