EHX Attack Decay or similar?

Well I'm looking for some type of a tape reverse/volume swell effect. I came across the EHX Attack Decay but they look like they are a little hard to come by. Never actually tried one but I've yet to dislike an EHX product.

Then I found the Guyatone SV-2 Slow Volume that seems to get great reviews saying it's a better version of the Boss Slow Gear.

So can anyone comment on either of these pedals of have any ideas of other ones that do something similar?

Edit - Well I found the BYOC SG-1 clone, it looks pretty solid and I wouldn't mind a little project. Anyone have any input on their kits, how easy they are?
