EHX The Clone Theory - hiss?

i just got this pedal and im getting SO much hiss!
i was wondering if anyone else has one can tell me whether they have the same problem.

I don't own one, but when I thought about getting one I heard about some EHX pedals hissing or humming. A remedy seems to be to place it in your effects loop (if you have one). I ordered a good old Small Clone instead.

does the small clone not have this problem of hissing?

Edit: sad news is i just found out the construction of the Clone Theory means theres more noise than other pedals. I warn anyone considering this pedal to try it first.

I sure hope not, because it hasn't arrived yet. However, from the Small Clones i've heard it doesnt seem to be a problem.

yea i got an email from EHX... the clone theory (and many of the nano/micro line) do have more noise than the other pedals.
Though according to my local shop, they can vary between units.

Let me know what your one is like.
