Morley Wah?

Anyone have one?

My friend has this insane 70's morley wah that truly screams, I was wondering if the current ones are the same. Then I would totally get one.

I have the Steve Vai "Bad Horsie" wah. I'm not a Vai fan but I love that pedal. I like not having to hit a button on and off. It sounds great and it's survived about 5 years without any problems.

i have the Morley Mark Tremonti wah. I despise Creed and their music but i read great reviews about the wah and i have been very pleased with it.

I have a recent Morley Wah/Volume/Distortion pedal which I like a lot. The wah effect isn't that extreme, so it may not suit everybody's taste. The sound quality is good, and they are built to be stomped.

+1 on the bad horsie, its a killer sounding wah & I love the switchless operation.

as a side note, I've found it doesnt sound great with every amp though, like for instance it sounds great with a brian may vox amp, but not so great with a mini z...weird.

While I haven't played a newer Morley Wah, I too had the big chrome 70's Power Wah. They still can be found, I would imagine that the tone has evolved over the years. Which might be a bad thing.

i bought one from a little Mom & Pop store that has long since went away; the store, that is...built like Fort Knox, only annoyance is if the little red pilot light burns out, the pedal doesn't function...but i have 5 extras...only had to change it once in 30 years..!!....sounds fine even though it is not an effect i use any more....it's in a box with a lot of other pedals from "back in the day"...i have an original Cry-Baby in the box also, an old Dyna-Comp (before they came with AC adaptor)...Ross combo phaser/distortion that sounds great IMO, Farfisa volume/tone pedal that is pretty cool for subtle wah effects...as i said, this stuff with a lotta other stuff is "retired" and will most likely never see service again....but they don't eat nothin' and don't take up that much room....the wife disagrees...

I have a 8 yr old basic Morley Wah, and its been great, but the range doesnt seem to have that great of a "Wah"

I'd spring for a different version or brand, I wouldnt reccomend the basic model if youre looking for a Clapton/Cream sound, but then again i bought it a while back....

I like my Bad Horsie 2. The lil hesitation when you step off it is aggrivating but I never notice it in a live situation. I like the control of it over the Dunlop and no scratchy pot to go out....
