whats the word on adrenalinn 2?

hi guys, i checked their website and it looks like a fina machine. would that be the ticket to a full on oneman-superband? do the drums sound decent through a guitaramp? and, most of all, are the drums idiotproof? i was never able to program a drumcomputer in my life, but got along well with samples. i would use it with a looper. lots of stuff...

I love my adrenalinn II. It is great for songwriting and getting out of ruts etc... I wouldn't say the drum machine is great at all though... and for gigging, I'm not sure I'd use it for that other than just as an amp/effect modeler if my amp died. If I were going for the one man band thing... I'd probably more likely use an ibook, garageband and drumcore and some of the loop libraries... work up all my backing tracks (it is easy) and then play guitar through the ibook and hook it via audio out to my PA. I have done this before and it is a pretty sweet setup. it sounds much better than just midi files or karaoke sounding stuff... here is a little clip of one I made to give you an idea.

But, the adrenalinn is an amazing tool. I would probably buy the black box now instead of the adrenalinn as it seems a little more 'figured out'...

Sorry for the long post eddie!

I did one track on that clip using the amp simulator in garageband and the other was through my adrenalinn into my computer.

they're great, they've got tons of stuff. I think they are too much money.

It is a very cool practice/writing tool, but I dont like the control layout very well. It would not be very useful in a live situation: too much fiddling.

I actually almost bought one, I was just scared away by the price
