and the orange pedal is actually a lovetone big cheese clone, a raw nasty fuzz:

anyone else experienced this issue?
Maybe I'm missing something, but cant you use a boom to bring the mike closer to you, over the pedal board? You might have to lean forward a bit, but it's better (in my opinion) than having your pedalboard off to the side.

Anyone using a [webmaster edit] product name removed due to threatened legal action[/edit] with these boards?

It improves the high end definition and adds 'oomph' to thr low end. Simply put, it makes my amp sound clear as if the cover was lifted.

Well, I finally put together a board, and also got in some new pedals. I went out and got the extra patch cables I needed after the picture, but here it is:

theres a larger shot of it here: http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne...1381531&size=l

As said above, the Sonic Stomp really does clear up the sound. From what I've heard from other people, it's a "leave it on all the time" type pedal

This is my current board. Though not pictured, I use a [webmaster edit] product name removed due to threatened legal action[/edit] with it.

Singing and pedals...

As a reply to Captn Gorgeous I used to use an Atlas boom stand with a very heavy triangular base set behind my pedalboard on stage. The boom placed the microphone handily in front of my mug and eliminated the problem I once had of my guitar coming in contact with the mic stand.

The hula girl usuallly sits on top of my amp. I like to watch her shake it while I play.
Boss pedals work well for my situation. I modded the comp and BD-2 with Monte mod kits. A big improvement for both pedals. The TR-2 was modded by Analogman.

The closest thing I've ever heard to a real JTM45 amp. And I've owned a copy of a '64 JTM45. I love it. Even at whisper volumes it great! The boost on it works great too.

I just have a general question for you guys. I notice quite a few of you have a large number of pedals that are all hooked together. I've never used more than a couple at a time so I'm wondering if you start to have problems with buzzing and noise when you have so many all hooked up at the same time. Also, I guess I can assume that none of you have found any multi effect unit that does the job of all of these pedals, right? I like to keep things as simple as possible so I've got to have sustain and I like digital delay as well but I've never tried anything like I've seen on this thread. It's one of the most interesting threads I've seen. Thanks.

Really good question. I don't have additional noise on my Boss layout (page 5), as I took the coward's way out by sticking to the same make for all the pedals and bought their own AC adaptor to deliberately avoid potential problems. The adaptor goes into the TU-2 tuner; which then supplies up to 7 other pedals using a Roland spider lead. From right to left, the first five boxes go into the amp direct, the last three go into the FX loop. The overdrives all cause slight buzzing when selected, but my Marshall generates exactly the same noise when switched to channel 2 anyway.

There may be a bit of tone sucking with 8 pedals on the go, but my abused hearing can't detect anything. Unfortunately it's only my V-Wah that will cause problems if the drive knob is not turned down all the way. The slightest turn will significantly interfere with the signal, whether the pedal is switched on or off. My knowledge of electronics is absolutely nil: guess that problem may have something to do with Boss FX not being true by-pass?

I also own a Zoom 606 multi FX, but have never got my head around scrolling through various patches. Most of the factory pre set options don't sound very convincing either, so it gets little use and stomp boxes are generally easier for an old buffoon to play with. Did I mention somewhere, that my knowledge of electronics is absolutely nil?
