Not bad at all. I've since replaced it with a Malekko Echo 300D, but still have the Rocktron off the board. Can't quite bear to part with it.

I've got one, too, and I agree, it's not bad, but a bit on the bright side for slapback echo (the Rocktron can only do short delay times); mine developed a weird malfunction after only a couple of months, so: not only does it produce delay, it also boosts the signal quite a bit, and there's no way to turn it down.

I replaced mine with an Artec SE-ADL, which isn't only much smaller, but also sounds a bit warme/fuller.

You know I really waited because; I thought I'd eventually put more into my main chain, but geezus; I've got pedals I like and play around with, but this is all I really use.

Two pedal boards.

First is the home one that usually goes with my Fender Champ.

The second one will be my main board that goes with my Engl. I haven't decided on pedal placement yet so the pedals aren't stuck on.

They are pretty close in tone, but to my ear, the TOD is a bit brigther and more open, but not in a bad way. You have to try it out, bacause I can't explain the difference :-) Its very nice sounding and a very good booster with both bass and treble and it goes from mild breakup to fairly dirty and with more gain. I think its super bang for the buckThe LTD is my favorite low gain OD too. I have placed an order on a Timmy that will be here i June.

Thanks - so the TOD (& probably the Timmy) is even brighter? I guess then it's not for me, I already adjusted the internal treble trim pot of the LTD for a less highs (with a clean, BF Fender-ish amp - but then, even PaulC himself mentions that the Timmy is not made for BF Fenders...)

Here's mine:

I use the Cool Cat as a vibrato pedal.

This thread is making me think that I need to acquire some boutique pedals.

Heres mine... The signal chain goes:

Analogman TR-2 Tremolo - Fulltone Fulldrive 2 - MXR Phase 90 - Boss FV-500H - Analogman DD-6 Delay

I've been getting some great sounds out of this rig - love it! And it's very versatile for any studio work or covers my band wants to play.

Made by BigfootFX. Great 60s fuzz. The Fuzz knob doesn't really increase the gain so much as change the nature of the fuzz. CCW is honking horn-like fuzz, Noon is an octave fuzz, and full CW is very buzzy. Lots of useful tones in between too. Full description and clips at: http://www.bigfootfx.com/

Also, I'm on the fence with the BBE Sonic Stomp. Might be quickly off the board next week...

Finally got a pic of my updated and almost final board.

Started out with 10 OD/Boosters and ended up with 4.

Using a Musicomlab EFX switcher, which is a terrific unit. Going to try to run the MIDI with my Timefactor. I just sold my Sunlion and that will be replaced with the Lovepedal BBB07. Also, inserting a Micro Pog in the loop with the Verbzilla and volume pedal.

Running this through a Two Rock Custom Reverb and 1x12 Two Rock cabinet.

Is that Jack ball an original or is it a reissue?

It's been around for only about 6 years, so I believe it is a reissue.

Didn't JIB sell them about 20 years ago?

Hmmm... I believe they did, though 20 years ago is a bit fuzzy in my brainpan.

Could you explain this? Did you mod the Cool Cat to do vibrato??

EDIT: Nevermind, got it. Dummy plug in the stereo out.

How's it sound?

Thanks Roman. This is actually more effects than I've ever used before, but I've been playing in a trio and need to cover a lot of tones (ie keep it interesting). I'm pretty happy with the setup, covers my needs nicely. I'm new to Barber and man I can't say enough good things about Dave's product and approach - great tone, easy availability, excellent value.

This was my setup last weekend. Pretty pleased with it overall, but might consider swapping the delay for a carbon copy.

I saw a CNB PDC-410E pedalboard in an aluminum case at Amazon for 40 bucks. Anyone familiar with them, that price is so low, I wonder if they just fall apart by looking at them?

Just finished this pedal board yesterday. The red effects pedal next to the Vox is a BYOC Big Muff Pi - Large Triangle. This has a sweet vintage sound of the old 1971 pedal.

New temporary board

I broke down the rack system while I am trying some new stuff (Eventides, Telenordia) and will rebuild my rack once I settle on what I want for certain.

Signal flow is as follows:

Guitar -> Clyde McCoy wha -> Peterson Tuner -> Telenordia compressor -> Ibanez OT10 Octaver -> Telnordia Treble Booster -> Ernie Ball Volume Pedal

are all on the front of the amp (Mesa Dual Recto or Fender Prosonic)

The Eventides are in the loop, modulation into the delay of course.
The little box between the treble booster and the volume pedal is a Voodooman channel switcher with the brightest LED known to man. Works with everything.

I know it looks pretty simple but I have a LOT of options with the Eventide pedals. They are amazing.
