Re did my board (again
) once again utilizing the same piece of Maple I've beenn using for nearly 25 years as the base for the pedals. So it goes : Tuner--> Dano Fab Overdrive--> Arion Stereo overdrive--> Delay--> out to amp... I used bicycle tubular tire double sided tape (super strong stuff) and for the first time onmy life, ran all of the cables concealed underneath.. nice and neat. I use an Ispot multi plug thing for all of the pedals except the delay, which I run power out of the Boss tuner which I made a cable for to keep things tight.

Home made ish
This is my pedal board . ( click for large image )
I'm not big on pedals , and generally keep it to basic requirements , though I do have another dedicated floorboard if I need it . It's basically made of solid wood ( looks like pine ) . Obviously i've not wired it up just for the camera , but you can get the gist . The wah and trem only get plugged in if needed , as my amp has a vintage trem on it anyway which sounds ok . The top and bottom are covered in industrial velcro , and I took the inards from a briefcase and velcro'd ( is that the way to write it lol ? ) it inside the top , which is very handy for storing spare batteries , set lists , leads etc etc . The pedals on show are a cry baby wah , Tu2 tuner , Keeley TS808 , Marshall Guvnor , Arion Chorus , Rocktron delay , and line 6 trem . I use the chorus mainly for a rotary effect similar to what you hear in songs like Cold Shot etc . The board is powered by a Sound lab pedal power which is perfect and only cost about £17 . Like I said , I keep it basic but every pedal on the board is an absolute gem , and i'll probably stick with that set up unless things change drastically . It probably cost about £45 for the board to be made by a carpenter about 8 years ago , and about £15 to get the velcro shipped , and about £6 each for the cables , but I guess if I had to buy something similar in the shops , it would cost a lot more . The underneath has 4 rubber feet , and there are 4 catches / clamps in total . Very neat and tidy no fuss set up ![]()

so you've got the famous janglebox (and a lot of other very cool pedals !)
Q: is the Janglebox as wonderful as they say ?

Finally finished wiring up my new board (just in time for tonight's gig...):
![]() Self-made double A/B selector (the golden box on the upper right) allows to switch inputs between my lap steel and Telecaster, and outputs between the tuner (Ibanez LU10) and the rest of the board) -> Marshall Edward The Compressor (set up mainly as a booster, to bring the volume level of the lap steel up to that of my Tele, and add a bit of sustain) -> Barber LTD (for adding just a bit of hair) -> Siggydrive (German Fulldirve 2-clone with an option to switch between symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping) -> George Dennis GD125 (tremolo & volume pedal) -> Danelectro Wasabi Rock-A-Bye delay. |

My board is somewhere around page 2, not much has changed on it,
but I thought I'd post a pic of my collection before I have to sell some off

Down to four . . .
I've consolidated my rig down to these four - MXR Phase 90, Voodoo Labs Superfuzz, Danelectro Tuna Melt, Rocktron Short Timer

------------------------------------------------------------------------ That was a special project I started about a year ago after picking up a few different Vox effects and decided to put together an all Vox board and then use my others on the other board. It`s actually pretty cool and they all work great. |
