With the installation of a Weber California in my DRRI my board has changed to accommodate the new sonics. That, and the aquisition of a pedal that has blown a MI Audio Blues Pro off the board:
![]() Tele >> Teese RMC-1 wah >> Loooper A/B box >> (A) RGW Bad Bob booster >> RGW Dirty Dan >> Maxon chorus >> DRRI (with California speaker; Mercury Magnetics output and power transformers; NOS Marconi power and GE preamp tubes; JD Newell solid pine cabinet). Love playing straight into the amp. On 5-6 on the volume she opens up nicely to reveal the tele's charm with a bit of an attitude. The Bad Bob gives a great clean boost and smacks the front end of the amp nicely in doing so. When some "true grit" is needed the Dirty Dan steps up to the plate. That Dirty Dan should be outlawed.

Later version:
![]() The Twin Tube its "THE" OD pedal. Great sounding pedal. When I bought it I was thinking on selling the Jekyll & Hyde but they complement each other and they're both great pedals. Now I have more than 6 choices of sound and that's amazing! I use a DRRI. |

jfm - Welcome and great looking board.
Two questions - - Who makes your blue patch cables? They look terrific!!! - How much noise or tone suck does the Dano add and do you need to run it thru a loop? Thanks

the current mess.....
been rearranging the pedals and signal path. it ain't real pretty like some of y'alls but it sounds good. the key pieces are the EB VP jr., H&K Tube Factor, Teese RMC1, Radial Plexitube, Digitech Flange, Phaser, Chorus, Delay, over to the rack for the Lexicon MPX100 and the BBE Sonic Maximizer, then back to the Eventide Time Factor (Midi pedal controlling the Eventide and the Lexi) and one of it's outputs goes to one of the Marshalls or old Laney heads whichever suits at the time and the other output goes to the AB Both switch that controls the two combos, one of which is a '72 SFVR, the other is a Laney LC50. The Tube Factor stays on Factor 1 all the time, the Lexicon provides a light amount of reverb, the BBE is set for a moderate amount of processing all the time and everything else is to taste and what the music needs. It's still evolving. update..... I re-routed the signal path today, back the way I had it previously. On the front end, the volume pedal, Wah,Tube Factor and Radial Plexitube to the '72 Marshall Super Bass. Then I tap off of the Hot Plate that is between the Marshall and the 4x12 cab and run that line out through the BBE and Lexicon, then over to the time based pedals (chorus, phase, flange and delay) on the board, then to the Eventide and stereo out of it to and AB switch to the 2 combo amps. Much better when stepping on the Marshall hard, the combos get the cranked amp flavor and the time based effects still sound really good on the wet half of the rig. bit old now, as i have got a pedaltrain 2 instead of the piece of plywood i was using (planning to get another pedaltrain to get everything on a board), same pedals though.
![]() Tele/Strat > MXR Blue Box > Zvex Fuzz Probe > Effector 13 Torn's Peaker > Boss PS-2 Pitchshifter/Digital Delay > Boss DD-3 Digital Delay > Digitech Whammy reissue > Electro Harmonix Small Stone > modded Boss DS-1 Distortion > Frantone Sweet > Boss BF-3 Flanger > Catalinbread Semaphore Tremolo > Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man > Marshall Echohead > old Marshall JMP as you can probably tell, i like fuzz and delay, probs using more pedals than i really need, but i'll change how i play songs and what sounds i use every gig and practise.

csapo....
the cables are DiMarzio (patch) & George L The Dano is not bad at all re: noise, I have a Boss NS-2 & don't need it. Tone-suck on the board in general depends on the pick-ups/guitar & settings. I do plug straight in with some guitars, sometimes, not often enough to have a bypass yet but I'll probably do that soon. I've messed with the order a bunch and like this one currently. The Reeves doesn't have an effects loop & I haven't used this board with an amp that does. |

Here's a pic of my redesigned board.
I now have two T-Rex boards. One small one has my essentials - Wah, Diamond J-Drive TR boost and OD, '69 Fuzz, Comp, Tuner. This is to grab-and-go for jams and small gigs. The second board is larger, with the stranger, less essential stuff. The loop pedal is a Toadworks Roundabout, and the a/b/y is a Morley for selecting between amps. Power is from two T-Rex Fuel Tank Juniors velcroed securely under each board. I was having terrible hiss problems, but the isolated power from these seems to have sorted it out. The amp switch is for the channels and tremelo of a Peavey DB210, and the other amp out goes to an old silverface Princeton non-reverb. The two Dano pedals and the whammy are in separate loops using the Toadworks Roundabout. ![]() Here it is split - one cable from the tuner to the Keeley TS9 links them. ![]() And here are some arty-type shots: ![]() ![]() It's taken me ages to arrive at this setup. I needed a bigger board than the larger of these two, but didn't want to have to carry a massive thing about all the time. I also discovered that you can run the two EHX pedals of one EHX adapter with a daisy chain cable. Annoyingly, they really do need 9.6V, and just won't work well with 9v from 1-spots or the T-Rex juniors. No problems so far off one EHX adaptor though. |

Just finished this rev. 1 version. I will add a longer snake in the future with a multi plug that screws in the side so I can remove the bypass switch bar. This setup includes a radial DI which allows long distance runs to and from the amp. These road cases with their foam inserts are great. Most of the wiring is hidden. I am going to route the power chord out the side at some point to make things cleaner. It's a work in progress but already road worthy.

My latest rewiring brainstorm resulted in this...
![]() Signal chain is: Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster (usually on resonance setting 1) Fulltone Clyde Standard Loop-Master Bypass strip Tuner out to BOSS TU-2 Loop 1: Luxury Drive -> Mi Audio Blues Pro...for solo/heavy crunch Loop 2: Ibanez MOSTORTION MT-10 (in yellow case, rehoused by FXDoctor) for lite crunch and sparkle Loop 3: Marshall Echohead (on either Tape Echo or Multi-Tap) Loop 4: Marshall Reflector (on Spring) out of Loop-Master BOSS TR-2 Tremolo (stock, may replace with Marshall Vibratrem, I dunno) all connected to amp via Pedalsnake (great product!) Between SD Booster and wah is Loop-Master Tap Tempo switch for Echohead. Coiled up below the tuner is a TRS cable which goes to a BOSS FS-6 for when I want to use my Vox AC-15CC's onboard trem or reverb. When I have the stage room and the gig warrants, I loke to use the Vox and a Deluxe Reverb side-by-sde, setting the Vox's trem's Depth all the way up, yielding a cool quasi-stereo tremolo. |
