Problem with MXR Dynacomp???

I am kind of new to pedals and stuff, but I have a new (bought in October of 2005) MXR Dynacomp that does not work anymore. I haven't used it since the first of this year.

I left a battery in it, and the other night it was dead, but I plugged in my ac power to it and I get a red light, but when I get no sound when turned on?? Any ideas guys??

My setup is as follows: Amp--Dynacomp--Guitar

Thanks for any tips or tricks up front....

Zack

This may sound like a stupid question, but you'd be surprised at how many times it happens:

Did you try reversing the cables?

No, I didn't but I will. I just hope I didn't "fry" some of the circuits or something. Like I said, Im kinda new to the pedal thing.

I will reverse the cables and see what happens.

Thanks for the help,
Zack
