Yamaha SPX 90

Hello All,

I've got a Yamaha SPX 90 Multi EFX Processor I use in my guitar rig. I bought it because a buddy of mine uses one and gets great delay sounds with this thing. I bought it off of ebay and it came with an instruction manual.

I was wondering if anyone else uses one of these and if they do what their settings were for delay as I'm having trouble getting mine dialed it like I want?

If I cant get the SPX to sound the way I like I'm probably going to go to a pedal delay unit. Any reccomendations there?

Thanks

I have one in my PA rack. If it wasn't there, I'd use it with guitar. There are a lot of good settings. I just tweak the delay times, regeneration and save 'em with new names. Are you using it in the loop of your amp? It would be happier there then as a stand alone unit before your amp's input, though it will work OK as I think ablut it.
One word of warning. I used mine with a Deluxe Reverb and a Super Reverb. The SR had an ungrounded cable and I touched the top of the SPX 90 and one of the chassis strips of the SR. I got a mild shock and $130 later the SPX 90 was as good as new. So make sure everything is grounded!

I've been running it through my Loop. Should I be running it through the stereo side or mono side of my loop?
