Custom Distortion Pedal
After many years of trying different distortion, tube screamer, and overdrive pedals, I came to the conclusion that there were different aspects of many that I liked, but none were all in one unit.
I have seen some custom units out there that look decent, but still don't have what I want. Plus, they are more than I am willing to spend. So, I decided to put my background and training to use and create my own. Nothing earth-shattering, or even innovative (which is no surprise because there aren't any out there that are), but instead something that fits my needs. I already have a few proto-type boards made, and so far, they look promising. I want to be able to switch in and out a second gain stage for a boost, and be able to change the tone range with a twist of a knob. Now, these have probably already been done, but I am sure not quite the way I am doing it. Not to say mine is any better, just better for me. When I get a good solid working pedal done, I will post more.
