Guyatone ST-2 Compressor vs. Keeley compressor?

I currently have the ST-2 and I like it but I am curious to see how it compares with the Keeley.

I just got in from gigging the Keeley pedal for the first time. A fellow teacher and I swapped out his Keeley and my Analog Man Mini BiComp for the week. That little Guyatone really is probably the coolest sounding *cheap* compressor that I've played - I like it better than the Dynacomps, BOSS comps, and even the Maxon that I've played. However, the Keeley (as well as the Analog Man) utilizes military-grade components, which translates to superior fidelity, headroom, and all that good stuff. The differences might not be that noticeable at low volume, but on a big stage with a loud band, they're fairly apparent.

is keely really transparent?

I also have been, using the guyatone, it is not bad, at all

but I have noticed that all pedal comps , cut the high end

I have a dyna comp i bought new in the late 70`s. the reason I picked up the str-2 , was thinking the newer technology would not mess with the highs.

THE MILLON DOLLAR ????????? ($219.00)

Is the keeley TRANSPARENT?

The dyna, and the str-2 are both good, I don`t like the loss of highs.

thanks
