Finally won a Black '65 on eBay! Can't wait to try this out through my Princeton Reverb RI tonight.

I really want one. I'm hoping you won't tell me how awesome it is.

My goal with this pedal is to use it with my PRRI as a gain channel for low volume playing. Last night I played with the amp volume on 2 and the gain on the pedal cranked, and was very happy with what I heard.

There's a lot of adjustment in the EQ, since it has knobs for treble, mids, and bass. I was playing with the gain cranked, treble at 1 o'clock, mids at 11 o'clock, and lows at 9 o'clock and was getting a real nice Blackface OD - edge of clean when picking normal and crunchy when hitting the strings hard. Sounded real nice playing with my fingers instead of a pick.

Haven't tried the gain boost toggle switch in the up position much yet, but it's safe to say that's where the exploding amp sounds will be found. In the down position it's a low gainer.

I spent $165 used and that's more than I'd ever spend on a pedal, but so far I'd say it's worth it if you're looking for this sort of pedal.

That's a lot of knobs! Ha. I've liked the clips that I have heard so far. Enjoy it!

That seems cool, and I know those knobs are the best size and eminently practical, but considering the name, I'd feel obliged to put some blackface Fender amp knobs on it.

And a red LED. Blue seems so wrong.
