NPD X3

Went Pawn Shopping and picked up:

~ Electro Harmonix Big Muff - $45 - I think I'll be able to use it

~ Boss CH-1 - $40 - I think its decent, I like the Danelectro DC-1 better but I still cant find it

~ MXR Zakk Wylde OD - $30 - Not all that impressed, I like my Joyo Vintage OD a lot more..

Didn't steal them but still bit better then avg used retail...

I have a question on the Big Muff... It will turn on and off even though its not plugged in. Is that a Bypass going on? If so then can I leave it plugged in without draining the battery? I have a AC Adapter coming for it so Im not terribly worried but Ive never had a pedal that still turns on without being plugged in before

It's been a big week in Physics. First the Higgs Bosun, now perpetual motion!

Open the ZW and see if it has a hidden switch inside. The MXR Classic OD board is a ZW/GT OD board with a switch to chose either circuit. The ZW might have it as well which will turn it into a TS based OD.

No switch...

If you're handy with an iron, I would assume the mod wouldn't be that hard since they include it on the cheapo GC Classic OD.
