Electro-Harmonix enters the Multi-Effects market (sort of).....

Look at this.

It's a Memory Toy + Neo Clone + Metal Muff in one box.

Delay + Chorus + Distortion.

$220.50 street price.

Interesting.

Available late July.

I've got a few EHX boxes, I think that this would be a great grab and go or backup all in one. I can't wait to try one.

They already make the Holy Stain multi-effects pedal.

You're right. Didn't think of that one.

You can't click the individual effects on and off with the Stain as though it were three or four pedals. I still think the Tattoo is something new/special.

You are correct. The Tattoo is not their first Multi.

Ya, I've got a holy stain and love it, but consider it more of a super flexible stomp box then an actual multieffect.

Even though I wouldn't use over 90% of what EHX makes, I really respect all the things they offer.

The number of different pedals is absolutely nutty. Many companies that try that end up getting in over their heads. Not EHX.

I have no need for multi fx, but I can see the appeal for the new EHX box right away, and I think it's cool.

I bet it will sell like hotcakes. For a lot of guitarists it will be all the FX they need, in a heavy duty, gigworthy box. I even think there will be more of these "3 in 1" type FX around the bend.

I'm sold. !! It's looks great! I can just grab one pedal for practice, guitar and I'm all set!! No need for extra pedal or even board. I LOVE EHX.

This one has everything I need. $650! Yikes.

The EHX is one third the price of the Carl Martin.

Love my Holy Stain just for the reverbs alone - this new one (is it Tone Tattoo?) looks like 80s-era George Lynch in a box. Might keep a look out for one as these on eBay as these types of toys are great for the studio!

You know what would be kind of cool?

Having the ability to change the order of which is running into which. Like the Wilson Stoned Grasshopper.
I like chorus before gain sometimes, it'd be cool to have that on the fly.

Interesting collection or choices in that box. Not crazy with the Ed Hardy/Affliction/Middle Aged Douchebag artwork on the box though but I like the idea. Now if they could do some other combo pedals that include different effects!

A great idea especially for your kids first stomp box. It does take away from playing around with the order. I used to own the holy stain but couldn't get along with it really. It did a couple of things I liked but none of them well enough. Also found it hard to get a straight clean signal through it, there was always some minor clipping sound..

Muff + Modulation + Delay = Gilmour in a Box
