I had to share my latest find with the good people of tdpri. A vintage Morley Tel-Ray power wah boost. I bought it as not working. I adjusted a few parts, buffed with some chrome cleaner and it now works and looks great. Anybody else have some of these chrome beasts?

I've still got one. I bought it around 1979 or so, but I probably haven't used it since the mid '80's. I was addicted to the boost, left it on all the time.

AAAAH!! I remember those things when I was young. Could not afford one at the time. I used to gas something awful looking at those (keep on trucking) man ads in the guitar magazines...................good ol' days

I have a power wah I picked up at a flea market for $8.00. Soldered a loose wire and readjusted the optical flap thing and it works great. I've always liked the wide sweep on them, prefer it over Vox and crybabies which I have too and never use. They take up a lot of real estate is the down side of course.

I dont have this one, but I do have the Morley Fuzz Wah, which looks just like it. Its the Fuzz with Wah and looks new, sounds great! I may sell it though for a couple other pedals.

I had one in the '70's. I'd turn on the boost and sweep the wah and it sounded like waves at the ocean. A couple of years ago I got a Morley Volume Pedal from the same era. Like you, I got out the metal polish and replaced the power cord and put it to work.

I had the big Morley Echo volume pedal, it actually sounded very good for the echo part, but it was HUGE! Wish I still had it, they go for big bucks now, I paid $40 for it and the guys in the music store were laughing because I bought it, at the time everyone was into the digital rack stuff.
