TC Electronic Spark Booster?

Been thinking of dropping the OD's from my board and just going with a booster. Something to drive the amp a little harder, add a bit of grit and omph! Something like the Xotic EP or Fulltone Fatboost.
But I've seen that TC has released the new Spark Booster. Looks like it's along the same line as the Fulltone or Xotic boosts. Anyone had a chance to try one yet? Any thoughts?

I don't think it is on the market yet here in the US. I'm interested in this pedal also.

Sounds and "looks" like another RC Booster...

that said, I'll wait for used ones to pop up for under a $100 and try it

End of July 2012 per MF...must be a Summer NAMM release ?

I played one in a shop today through a Vox AC15 with a hollow body P90s guitar. The owner had gotten them in the mail a couple of hours before i showed up and asked if i wanted to pull one out and see what i thought. It sounded spectacular!

The fat mode sounded good but was a little to thick sounding for me. It had a little bit more gain than the other two settings.

The clean mode sounded really good. It added a lot of clean gain but could push the amp just over the edge into breaking up.

The mid mode was my favorite by far. It added a slightly gritty gain that pushed the amp into breakup and increased the mods enough to cut through the mix.

I really want this pedal now. It kept all of the notes really clear and articulate while still adding grit. It was an extremely smooth and useable tone.

Honestly it kind of reminded me of a Timmy. Any word if it's supposed to be a clone? It's got pretty much the same controls too.
Regardless, it sounds great and I'll probably get one soon!

That's funny. I just ordered one too. The MF coupon for $20.00 off expires today. Where did you order? MF says they have them in stock and so I bet I'll have it by Monday or so.

eBay, I live in Canada, so MF charges high shipping. Even with the coupon it was cheaper for me to buy off of eBay.
