Loop Effect Switcher with "soft pressed" buttons

Ok, gonna try to explain what I mean...

So, lately I've been thinking about getting a looper, like a loop-master...but the thing that keeps bugging me are the stomp buttons. The sound when you stomp on them are really annoying (especially if its quite during a concert). Understand me right here, I'm not talking about the "electrical bop" that occur sometimes, but the sound itself from stomping the button to the bottom. Do you understand what I mean?

I want to find a looper with "soft pressed" (my own definition) buttons. Like the buttons on the Nova System, or Line6 M series...The button itself doesn't have to look like Nova's or M's, just that they don't make this loud click when stomping.

Anyone here on the forum who knows about a manufacturer that makes these "soft pressed" buttons loops?

BIG THANKS IN ADVANCE :)

Boss Loop-Station?

You will have to try them out because they all have different functions.

Sorry, should have explained better.

I'm not talking about a looper that you record with and then playback. Im talking about a looper pedal that you connect your pedals to. Have a look at this: http://www.loop-master.com/product_i...roducts_id=120

That is the kind of looper I'm referring to.

The difference between the Nova and M systems and the buttons on typical loop systems is that the buttons on the digital devices are sending electrical signals to a computer whereas the buttons on the loopers are physically/mechanically switching the circuit. So what you really want is a digital looper that will have to have a bunch of A/D/A converters that and I don't think such a thing exists outside of huge MIDI controlled rack units. If you want it to fit on a pedal board, you're gonna have to deal with the clicks.

Thanks!

Ok, so there are no other buttons (mechanically switching circuit) that are more "light" then others? I have two Barber pedals that makes a really loud mechanical click when stomping. I mean, there must be other buttons that makes the mechanical switching a bit quieter...?

Not "advertising" but I build custom pedals and have been working on a design for this type of looper. It uses the same type of switches as you're talking about.

If you're interested just shoot me an email and we can talk. FosterFerrellMusic@me.com

What switches are you using that do this? I'm going to build my second bypass looper and I'd like to improve upon my first build wherever possible. I'm interested in whet I could get these quieter 3PDT switches

I actually use a SPST switch that triggers a DPDT relay.

I don't actually have a diagram for this :/
I typically use it just to mod pedals but can use the same method to build a bypass looper.
