Need help: Ibanez Chorus, Dr. Blade Distortion... value & parts

Hey Everyone,

I don't keep up much with pedals (as some of you have been able to see with recent questions here). Last time I was at my mom's I dug the only two pedals I remember having from my teen years out of the closet. One is an Ibanez stereo chorus pedal and the other is a Dr. Blade distortion pedal. I need a little help if you have time.

First up is the Ibanez. The only time I see myself using a chorus pedal is if I were to play acoustic and I don't see that happening other than around the house. I'm thinking I want to sell it but I don't know if there's a market for it or what it's value would be. I've looked on ebay and this model seems to be going from $50.00 to $100.00. Here are some pictures. Let me know what you think.

Next up is the Dr. Blade. I used to love this pedal. I'm not sure I would now but I can't find that out because of the input and output jacks. They are stripped. I have looked for replacements but can't seem to find them. Any idea where to get them? Also wondering if it has any value. I've seen one on ebay for $200.00. Seems a little high to me but what do I know. Here are pictures of it and the jacks I need to replace.

Appreciate any help you can give.

Guitar Center has one of the Ibanez Stereo chorus pedals in way better condition for $40. Ebay has them for around $80 though. So I guess it depends on if it is original or a reissiue.

Thanks for the reply. I would guess it's original. I got it in my teen years which would have been late 80's to early 90's. After reading your thread about you buying one maybe I need to give it a chance. Seems people like them. I don't see myself as a chorus guy but who knows.

I guess I just don't know how much condition affects pedal prices. I've never been much into pedals. I would assume it'd have to... but how much? If they're going for $80.00 does the condition of mine mean that $50.00 is fair?

Moving onto the Dr. Blade... does anyone have any info about them? Do those jacks look familiar to anyone? I'd like to get it up and running to see if reality lines up with my memories of how great this pedal was during my heavy metal days.

Its gonna be hard to move that Ibanez in its condition. There is an analog one on eBay right now that is in much, much better condition for 50 dollars. As a bidder, I would be reluctant to bid on a pedal with that much rust and pitting, because I'd figure that it had water damage. I'd start the bidding really low and let the auction takes its course.

Never heard of the Dr. Blade - sorry.

This is the guy who invented the Dr Blade. His name is Todd, he's a great guy and probably could help you.

I got my first chorus pedal a few months ago and if I find it really nice for background chord work. Better than an accoustic simulator! I'm the singer and do a lot of rythym work. I find it very usefull.

I bought that CS9 (non-reissue) for $20 bucks. Ended up selling it for $30.
