I've ordered from WTF a couple of times. The standard shipping is slow but the price is right. Being patient means I could flip a pedal for what I paid if I don't like it. The last order I place got hung up with Chinese New Year. When I inquired I got a immediate response from someone who is fluent in english.

Still a fair bit cheaper than ebay. Price for the two pedals including shipping is just over $66. I'm in Ireland, the site allows viewing pricing in euro for convenience but the paypal receipt is in US dollars. http://www.wtfaccessories.com/music/.../?currency=USD |

^ still, quite a bargain!
Now, lets see how they sound..... OK, Mine arrived today. The US Dream has the Suhr Riot sound going on for sure,Its a killer distortion pedal! The sweet honey is cool too, but too bright for my amp.Would be a great low-mid gainer for anybody with a warmer tube amp. Just too bright for my Roland JC. In a nutshell, they are both outstanding sounding pedals, but the US Dream is my keeper. Last edited by czech-one-2; March 19th, 2012 at 10:52 AM. |

Ok,I know I'm violating somebodys 'honeymoon period' regulations but since I just had a rehearsal with the US Dream I can tell its going on my pedal board. Its a pretty hot distortion pedal, but nothing stupid like a Metal Zone or anything. Sounds amp like and cleans up into overdrive amazingly well with my volume knob. Its actually in the Ultimate Drive area gain wise, but sounds clearer and can get heavier, better for sure.Kind of reminds me of the Barber Dirty Bomb that I used to have but never quite bonded with. This thing sounds like the Suhr Riot clips that I've heard but of course I've never owned one so cant accurately say its a clone.
No time [or setup] for audio clips from me but hopefully this is helpfull to somebody! Maybe I'll give the Sweet Baby a try at the next rehearsal. It sounded really bright at home volume into a Champion 600 but it might shine in a live, higher volume setting. |

Hi! This is my first post here. I registered because I'm really interested in the new Joyo Pedals. Does the Sweet Baby have the same dinamic sensibility of the MP Sweet Honey Overdrive? Does the focus knob change the sensibility like at the MP Sweet Honey Overdrive? I've already purchased the PlexiDrive/Hot Plexi from wtfaccessories, the JCM800 distortion. I will notice you how it is when it arrived! |

I have a LGW Clone from E-Wave and the "Body" knob from it is labeled tone. It's an interesting and occasionally annoying knob TBH. It changes the structure of the pedal but also changes the way the gain works. Basically the higher the tone control goes, the lower the gain gets. For actual overdrive (without diming the gain) I have to keep the tone control VERY low. If I turn it up higher, I have to keep turning up the gain to get the same level of dirt.

Thought I'd snap a quick inside shot. Kinda shocked at the low parts count, this thing must have less components than an SHO |

Spent a few more hours with the sweet baby today and one thing was bugging me.Its pretty gritty so my favorite sound was with the gain off and volume maxed, however set like that the volume was below unity gain. So I cracked it open and noticed the gain pot was 500k with the volume being 50k. So I swapped em! More volume + less gain + less harsh trebel = Perfect!I'm gonna be keeping this one as well.
If you get one and find it too gainy and bright, do this mod! Oh yeah,I was wrong about the low parts count, theres a ton of SMD components underneath - Last edited by czech-one-2; March 20th, 2012 at 12:24 PM. |

Yes, thats what I did.Just swapped the gain and volume pots. Is it less dynamic?Well, its a little less bright and smoother with less grit at lower gain settings, but still plenty dynamic.Stock I felt it had too big of a trebel spike and too much gain at its lowest range for my setup and needs. With a neck pickup or humbucker + a tube amp its probably voiced perfectly as is,but I couldnt get it to work for me. Now its going on the pedalboard as my low gainer.

I really want a Suhr Riot but it's well out of my price range. £21 for a clone? That'll do nicely!
