Joyo Launches Website

Sorry if this has already been posted...

Just noticed that Joyo finally launched a website... and they're claiming all those pedals from late last year are now in production. WAY cool.

Why does visiting a website hosted in China make me nervous?

Cool news, tho'. Thanks.

Just like that Joyo already has more web presence and 'contactability' than Danelectro has ever had (I know Dano has a website but seem like they play "peek-a-boo" when it comes to their products and market presence-always hiding...)

US distribution (other than e-bay) might be around the corner

I'm sure the new products and prices will trickle through slowly to US dealers, etc.

I saw somewhere that the jf-33 analog delay will cost $80 and change.

With their rapidly growing popularity, I wonder how long it will be till their prices increase.

I think they're growing in popularity because their prices are so cheap.
it would be a poor business decision to raise prices.

I'm interested in the wireless especially after reading description on Ebay.

The amps are expensive. I think the 12W combo is almost $800 and it's the cheapest tube amp they make.

I also heard their new line was going to run about $75-$90 a pedal which is risky. They made their name as a low cost, low risk pedal company. Since almost no one sells their stuff (especially in a brick and mortar store) that's their selling point. Why not take a chance for a metal housed stomp box for only $35. I'd like to see the prices stay low (who wouldn't) as it would entice me to actually try more of them out.

At $90, I might buy 1... MAYBE 2 (if that) but I wouldn't pick up more than that.

I think that for $80 a true analog delay is awesome. It would make it the cheapest analog delay on the market by $20

I agree it would be nice... if it sounds nice. That's the issue. You can't exactly walk into a store and try them. That's why it was so important that they be cheap. We're still in a recession/down economy and people are being tighter with their "entertainment" cash. The original price model allowed for a low risk shot on something that you'd basically have to buy on faith alone. Raising the prices hampers that a little.

People would drop $35 on an Ultimate Drive, or Vintage OD but I can guarantee they'll be a little more hesitant to drop $80 on something from the new line.

JOYO...bought two of their pedals...One a marshall clone pedal...one a Boogie clone pedal....as soons as I plugged them into my line (without turning them on) I got interferance through my amp...took them out of line...no interfearance....to me there is a very good reason they only cost $50.00 "CHEAPLY MADE!"
