Chorus pedal recommendations?

Thinking about a chorus pedal in the near future. Hopefully something that will be simple to power from a VooDoo Power Plus

When I'm not pumping chorus out of my Roland JC-120 amplifier, I use an Electro-Harmonix Small Clone. It's lovely sounding, straightforward, reliable, and reasonably priced. I guess if I have any complaint it's that the pedal is kinda' big, in true Electro-Harmonix fashion. I think it's hard to go wrong with a Small Clone.

Proguitarshop.com lists 26 chorus pedals, ranging in price from $50 to $350. Pick a price point, listen to the samples, and just pick one. There is no holy grail (except, of course, the ElectroHarmonix reverb pedals of that name).

I also use a small clone with my JC-120. Its a very present chorus that cuts through a live mix well, and unlike the JC's chorus the fast vibrato sounds killer.
You can change out the two position mode switch for a potentiometer for some nice shades of chorus between the two extremes

I still like the TC best, though the Analog Man is cool, too.
The TC is dead silent, and AC powered, very nice in an analog pedal.

I like the Jacques Meistersinger al to. It's pure analog, and can be used very subtly or lavishly, depending on what you're looking to dial in.

TC Electronic Corona, Wampler Nirvana or Carl Martin Chorus xII are all nice sounding choruspedals.

Yes, I've been using a TC Electronic SCF since 1978. I've had as many as 5, and still using one of them that I bought in '78. I currently have the '78 model and the latest version: black w/o the purple silkscreening. The '78, I modified to be powered via DC power. I removed the bridge transformer and 4 diodes and replaced the AC power cord w/ a DC outlet center negative. The SCF requires 18-35V DC and only consumes 23mA. I power it thru my Cioks DC8 at 24V and it is still dead quiet and the sound is still as consistent as thru AC powering.

I really like my Boss CE-2 for adding just a touch of chorus effect.

My favourite of all time was the Voodoo Lab Analog Chorus but I don't have it anymore.

Recently went through a ton of choruses and settled on the Analogman Mini, but in the end I got rid of it too. I've been thinking of re-trying the VL one. I really liked the Choralflange, but it had too many knobs and I didn't need a flanger.

I'm waiting to try out the new Catalinbread Nautilux now

voodoo lab analog chorus or a boss ce-2. Those are my two favorites. I picked up a MIJ ce-2 for $100. That's as good as it gets for a good price. The voodoo lab is quite similar to the ce-2. Both of them are very warm and full of chorus goodness.

I second the MXR Micro Chorus (GREAT one-knob pedal) and the Jacques Meistersinger. I use both -- The Meistersinger is on my electric guitar pedalboard and the MXR is on my acoustic board. Both sound great, though the MXR is obviously easier to dial in.

However, I have to disagree with studio1087 -- The warmest chorus ever is the Ibanez CS-505, seen here:

It's an 18v pedal that uses an 1/8" tip for AC power. So, it can be powered from a brick, but you have to have an 18v jack and the 1/8" adapter to do it. Otherwise, there isn't a nicer sounding pedal in the world.
