NPD!!! Boss dm2 analog delay

Title says it all. Its a cool delay so far.

I've been using a dd6 for a while and liked it really well but I may use it for long delay and the analog for slap back delay. I used it at last nights gig for the first time but my amp crapped out so I spent more time thinking about that than playing with my delay.

Nice find... analog delay, on longer settings, can even do a decent, subtle reverb. Pair up the DM2 and your DD6 - use 'em at the same time with different settings (short DM2, long DD6) and you'll find some wicked bizarre/cool textures. Dig it.

This has long been my favorite delay unit, particularly for slapback and faux reverb. Congrats on your find!

You only get about 300 milliseconds of delay time, but it's such a warm, organic sound. It's hard to describe, but it seems to just meld with your guitar...it's so natural sounding, that it doesn't feel like an effect. Mine is almost always on.

Later...

Thanks guys! I use mine basically all the time since my amp doesn't have reverb.

I used it at my last gig and loved it

It's a great pedal. I've had one since the last half of the '80s and I'll carry it to my grave. It's just a part of my sound
