Just wondering if anyone can answer this question I've been pondering.
I have three tweed cloth guitar cables that are not working. One is a Fender one like this http://www.fender.com/products/searc...tno=0990820027 and two like this http://accessories.yorkville.com/cat...nt/Link_Audio/ My question is will the Planet Waves connectors work with these cables? I know it may be a dumb question but I just got to know. BTW these are the connectors I'm talking about. http://store.daddario.com/category/1...8482%3B__Plugs Thanks for your help. BTW sorry if this is the wrong place for this didn't know where else to put it.

No, the Planet Waves connectors need to use Planet Waves cables. The cables you're trying to repair can use regular 1/4" connectors but you've got to get out a soldering iron.

Um...you do know that those Fender cables are covered by a LIFETIME WARRANTY right? If you don't have the receipt it's okay...call this number: 480-596-9690 and explain to the customer service (politely) that you have the tweed cables and they've gone out. They will ask you what length, then ask you for your address and ask you to mail them to Fender at an address they will give to you. 2 Days later...you will have your new cables. I went through the same thing with a Blue "California Series" cable that I just love. I'm on my 2nd one now.

Lefty, I thought that I couldn't but figured I'd ask anyway. Thanks.
Thighbanez, No I didn't know about the cables being covered under a Lifetime Warrenty. I'll try them Monday and see what they say.
