Wampler Extacy or OCD?

I've got a Fulltone OCD pedal on my board that I really like, but I recently heard a Wampler Extacy at a friend's and was really impressed. I'm thinking of perhaps selling the OCD in favor of the Wampler OD. Has anyone had extended experience with both and care to comment on the pros/cons of the two pedals? For reference, I play classic and modern rock (Zep, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Rush, Oasis, etc).

You mean there's something out there that can best an OCD?! Hmmmm, color me skeptical...

Match it, perhaps? Okay, maybe. But that means you'll need to own both.

I'm trying to figure out if you're kidding or not I like the OCD a lot, but I can fathom that there might be something else in existence that does in fact better it. I probably will end up with both for a while before deciding which to keep for the long haul - or at least until the next great OD pedal comes along.

I have no experience with the OCD but I bought a Ecstasy and a Pinnacle last year and all my other great dirt pedals are sitting on the shelf. I was looking for a smooth Dumble kind of tone and the Ecstasy won hands down between the Suhr Sheiba and the Zen drive because it does so much more then those other pedals admittedly great sound. Very versatile pedal and well worth the bucks IMO.

OCD sounds great but would not play well with things that came after on my board.
Everything after became hard/impossible to control, they got way to much brightness and the volumes became totally unpredictable. OCD is non buffered or something like that.
I replaced it with a Pinnacle Deluxe. The Pinnacle is a different sound from the OCD (which I liked) much higher Gain. way more Brown - like the Ecstacy. More Modern less Classic - but not unworkable. Sounds so great by itself.

If you have effects after, I'd make the change. Some guys never have a problem with it though, some do.

Ecstacy is great, solid, versatile as it covers a very wide range of tones and it sits well my the rest of my gear.
I'm very happy with mine.

I think its quite a different beast. OCD is more striking and aggressive but solid at the same time. And Ecstasy is more subtle, warm, and smooth. Pretty hard to pick a point which one is the best. Go for both or sacrifice one. Can't shoot 2 rabbits with one bullet I think
