Boss DD-7 vs TC Flashback

I'm sure this has been asked before, but wich one do you guys think is better. Here is what I need it for.

Slapback delay
Long delays
Analouge delay simulation
Reverse delay
Looper-Both can do 40 sec of looping (correct me if I'm wrong.)
Tap tempo (I was wondering how you guys like the TC strum tempo or whatever it's called.)

Keeping all that in mind, wich one is better suited to my needs. I like the demos of both although I haven't actualy used the TC. I did test out the boss and I liked it a lot. Please don't mention the mxr carbon copy.(I've looked into it and it won't work for me.)

Have'nt tried the dd7 but I have the flashback on my board and I Love it.It does'nt seem to mess with my tone and retains my natural guitar tone.

+1 on the flashback.
Strum thing works fine...seems simple enough. As Dblstop said, doesn't mess with your tone.

Had a TC and liked it but now have a DD-20. I wasn't a fan of the strum tempo but it worked. All depends on your needs and personal preference. The TC was a darn good pedal.

I wish my flashback had tap tempo, or maybe external tap tempo like dd7. Strum tempo is nice idea, but not during the song. even though flashback is great delay

+1 for the Flashback. I've loved mine since having it. I will agree with the complaint that you can't change tempo mid song but I overall love the pedal. Plus the Tone Print section essentially allows you to have a preset.

Main thing is that the Flashback leaves your dry signal alone, so your tone isn't changed by running through it, or when it's turned on. The Boss buffer just isn't for me.

Another +1 for the TC Flashback. The 2290 delay is stunning, the modulated delay is just as awesome. Tape delay sounds great, and all of the available toneprints make this pedal a winner. There is a toggle switch for dotted eighth notes. There is even an iphone app to load toneprints through the guitars pickups without having to connect it to a computer, android app is in beta right now. Truly innovative design. The looper is cool but you can't use it as a delay when the looper is being used. Also, the strum tempo takes some getting used to but does the job once you get accustomed to it.

I didn't consider the mid song tempo changing scenerio. But if you guys think the TC is better I might just go for it. Do they sell the flshback at guitar center? I'd like to go try one before I buy it. Like I said, I tried the boss and liked it a lot. If the TC is better I can't imagine how good it sounds. Is the TC true bypass, everbody keeps saying that it doesn't mess with the dry signal. Thanks for all the help.

This hasn't been a problem...it's close enough.

Yes - And GC has a 10% discount going on right now for purchases over $100.

Yup - it's true bypass. It's extremely transparent.

Android app is live in the Marketplace. I've got it loaded on my iPad....and on my Android phone. This feature is the craziest thing I've seen a pedal do....ever. Totally amazing.

The rumors are that they'll eventually release the Toneprint application to allow you to make your own Toneprints. (maybe announced this week at NAMM?)

I never thought I would use the Toneprint on the Flashback much. For awhile I just had a Pete Thorn setting saved too. Now with the Toneprint Android app I am constantly changing and trying new ones. TC Elec hit a homerun with this line of pedals IMO!
