thanks for sharing. nice demo video!
my joyo trem was delivered today. I really dig it so far..still dialing in the sweet spot, but all in all a great pedal. do you notice you have a slight volume boost when yours is activated? I was messing around with the settings and turned the intensity all the way down. I didn't get any trem but I noticed a bit of a volume boost..almost like a slight preamp effect - added a tad of grit to my tele. |

thanks for the info. I got a gold one with white knobs (looks like yours in the video). I've seen the yellow ones - and even one that looked almost orange. are the different colors different versions/circuits? I purchased mine on ebay from a distributor in anaheim. ordered friday and arrived here in phoenix today.

Anyway, I'd still really like to know what its a copy of.Its definately not a Diaz Tremodillo.Someone at FSB.org mentioned it could be a Demeter Tremulator, but that was just a guess. |

No but I can say the Joyo is just as nice as the Tuna Melt I used to use. Is the CC trem much different to the earlier Dano, anyone? I never used the square wave setting on the Tuna Melt but it's there on the CC too if you like that on/off effect.

Right. The delay is annoying but the pedal sounds cool. I hear there is an inexpensive mod for it. In fact Danelectro gave me the name of the person that did
w the mod way back when I first bought it. |

That irritates me. They know there is a flaw in their design, they know the fix is inexpensive and they even refer you to someone to fix it.. but did they ever update their circuit to FIX the problem? No sir!

I had a seperate trem pedal years ago..these days, there are so many great options available. Eventually, after a friend shared with me their Zoom multi effects pedal, I quickly realized I could have mucho effects all together or individually with added EQ adjustments for even greater control...not to mention a fair price point as opposed to many seperate pedals. Again, many choices to fit everyone's needs

I have both.
The Cool Cat does the soft wave or the choppy square wave. It has a third knob to change from soft to hard. I like the Cool Cat more because it can do the choppy thing. I bought the Joyo because the Cool Cat is on a board and I needed a spare that wasn't on a board. The Joyo has the traditional metal chasis (nice). The Dano has the third knob. Both are worth more than they cost.

Got one the other week - great, well-built pedal for not a lot of dosh. I find that the controls are quite sensitive so you have to be careful to find the right setting.
No idea why it has a dog on it though.

I read in another thread that there are two trim pots in there. One adjusts volume.
