What's a TS-9 worth - an older one

I have a friend who is looking to sell his TS-9 that he purchased in 1978 or 1979. It's a MIJ TS-9 that is in very good condition.

I believe the first year for TS-9s was late 1981 early 1982. Just check Ebay for going rates. Depends on condition and the prevailing winds :)

I was at the SC Guitar Show this past weekend and a dealer had a 1982 TS-9 and was selling it for $250.

you'll make money selling it for sure

but I wouldn't be the buyer. Mine's an early TS-9 and
has not been used since the day "The Brown Truck"
delivered my Sparkle Drive which is basically a TS-808
with a Clean Boost. Actually I dig the "Potato Bug" TS-5
a lot more than the "9".
Aside from the original "808" the "Bug Line" are my favorite Ibanez'zzzz
If You look around You should be able to get the entire
Bug Fleet for under a c-note, less even.

It's a 82

After doing some research it's a black label from 1982
