Sparkle Drive Mod??

OK y'all... I obviously have problems. In my current mission to reduce the amount of pedals on my board, I am looking at new pedals. Makes sense, right? ANYWAY, I have long been intrigued by the potential of the Sparkle Drive and came across this today:

http://www.voodoolab.com/sparkledrive_mod.htm

Anyone have any info on this???

Thanks.

Lifted from their forum:

"Sparkle Drive MOD is very close to being done. I don't have an exact date for the first production run, but very soon we hope.

As for tones, SD MOD has 4 selectable voicings and one is the original circuit. If you love the old one, it's still in there.

The street price for the current Sparkle Drive is about $129 (in the US) and we didn't want to go much over that for MOD even though this is really 4 different pedals in one. So, most likely it will only be about 20 bucks more here. If you've ever seen the prices for mods on pedals, and the fact that you lose your original tone, we think it's a steal!

Thanks for your questions,

JS

Thanks! I still don't know what all it is. How can it be 4 pedals? What mods have people been doing to their Sparkle Drives? It seems like it would be difficult to do that many in one box, but I don't know anything.

Maybe it's some clipping stages selector, or mid-frequency voicing.

Not sure what he dud, but I had Keeley mod mine and it definitely had some extra mojo when it came back. More sparkle and more drive.

I own 2 sparkle drives, absolutely love the sparkle!! One was keeley modded, which is on my main pedal board... the other is stock and I use it on my downstairs blues jr amp. Both sound incredible, but I keep the clean side turned way up so I never really hear the gain side.

I'll probably get a new one with the mods too. I just can't get enough sparkle. Its my favorite pedal.. could you tell?

I saw the Sparkle Drive MOD pedal at Summer NAMM and was quite impressed with all of the voicings. Their new Giggity pedal sounded sweet too.
