I'm not using it, but I have used one in a studio where multiple pedals and audio routes were needed. It was great in that context. All the signal routes were quiet and switched seamlessly (duh, it's MIDI).

I might be veering off the intended topic, but for the casual player I really feel like it would only complicate things. There are cheaper and easier-to-use products out there if you want to make a pedalboard true bypass and have the ability to create presets. The Carl Martin Octaswitch, for example.

If you're touring and have a stack of pedals that you need to recreate very complex sounds, then such a system would be awesome.

If you're looking for less "tone suck" out of some non-true bypass pedals, I would go elsewhere.

not touring. But playing around yes...

I have a multi amp set up and multi pedal... most of my pedals i have modified to be true by pass, except my BOSS pedals so Im not that worried on tone suck. Plus I have an Eventide Timefactor that Im hoping to control through this unit as well. I spoke with their CS and they told me I can do Amp switching, channel switching, plus loops.. so I think Im sold just have not heard it or seen one in action.. But the price seems right.

Ah! The multi-amp setup really benefits from something like this.

If you've seen a modern, rock band perform in the last 10 years, chances are you've heard this system at work and not even realized it. Good luck!
