Tech 21 GT2 Users ...
I thought I'd pass on a new, for me, application of the GT2.
I have my board setup in this order- 1.dynacomp 2.mxr phase 90(script) 3.RAT 4.Ibanez AF9 5.GT2 I'm using it set on off-axis,clean,tweed. level-10o'clock, hi-noon,lo-2pm,drive-2pm. Then into a Peavey Classic 20 set sort of clean. I can't explain it, but I'll try. The GT2 acts like an eq/preamp and it sounds AMAZING in this application. If ya got one, try it like this, I can't bear to turn it off now. YMMV of course |

SEE....
SEE !!! Regardless of the fact that Mr.Tony
Black resides proudly as a member of The Evil Empire his Tonal Judgement is impeccable. How can I even consider dropping large amounts of money that can be used on all kinds of great vices for a Marshall Bluesbreaker when a simple device like the Tech 21 NYC GT-2 does such a masterful job of not only emulating said Amp through a '78 Peavey Classic but actually BLOWS AWAY THE "REAL BEANO" the way Marvin Hagler "did in" Alan Minter. If You "Mr/Ms Guitarist" have ever desired the "4K Tone" for the price of "dinner and a movie" then this GT-2//Peavey TagTeam is YOUR ride. If "bang for the buck" was a picture that would be it - like Hammond/Leslie.

Remember stantheman.......,
Tech 21 is an Evil Empire resident!!! You've already succumbed to the dark side.
I can't believe that complacency almost caused me to bail on the GT2, the dynacomp and the RAT!! G.A.S. nearly clouded my judgement, as usual. I'm using the Rat for various distortion tones, but the options are almost endless. I can dial up some great "plexi" type tones with the GT2 also. I forgot to add that I'm also using a DL4,which I love, and a Yamaha Magicstomp is on the way. Tones aplenty!!! Photos of the new board are imminent. p.s. Has any team ever spent more money in one offseason than the Mets? They might be the new Evil Empire |

I'm thrilled the word about Tech21NYC
is getting out there. I'm so INFATUATED with The Beano
Tone I have not tried either "The Tweed" OR "The Booga" everytime I turn on The Classic it ambushes me and I'm in "tonal ecstasy". I practically have to make an Epi Korina "V" stop sustaining - but understand it's Beano Sustain not that "5&10 crap". The same analogy as Hammond/Leslie. Good things like this for "meal money" are NOT supposed to happen to consumers, it's "our mission" to pay out the wazoo for Tone in this day and age. Tony, I feel bad for The Mets shelling out all that coin for "Signora Martinez" his arm is resembling Louis XVI's neck on that final day. I think Derek Lowe will win more than 22 Games with The Dodgers this coming Season. There is rampant speculation in Boston that Theo Epstein has a "verbal" already in place with Fernando Valenzuela. Years ago Boston took a shot on a "spent" Cleveland Indian named Luis Tiant who at that time was probably the same age Fernando is now - it turned out pretty good.
