Pedal for sustain?
Hi,
Got a Tele MIJ '52 reissue , and last week got a little Fender Champion 600 (just swapped out the tubes for a couple of better ones) I am very happy with the result and pretty much the amp gives me everything I need in the house and a bit of recording. I play country style and have no real need for a pedal on this amp playing country. But just need some sustain at times (a blues solo here and there)... I don't want dirt or volume Any suggestions as I am a newbie in the pedal world Regards Jem |

A Barber LTD with the gain turned down should get you there. A nice compressor like a Keeley could also do it. The Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone is supposed to do clean sustain, but I've never tried one. Good luck!

Rogue Vintage Compresssor.
Sustains my notes into oblivion without adding too much volume. 3 knobs give you good control.

Any distortion or overdrive pedal will give you sustain, but it may greatly alter the sound of your guitar depending on how much gain you use.
