I got my RAT. Thanks for your input.
UPS just delivered my EBay RAT. I'm so happy I got it. Thanks to all of you who gave your input to my post about a RAT giving good classic rock sounds. This one is exactly what I wanted (tonewise). I use it through the clean channel of my Traynor amp. I set the distortion on the RAT right where it just starts to break up. Perfect! I was using my old RAT for heavy distortion stuff. It was too compressed and muddy for that. At that time I didn't have a need for a pedal that could give that "just slightly dirty" sound. So, 1) I never tried to get that sound out of it, so I didn't know that it could, and so, 2) I sold it without ever knowing. Anyway, I have one now and I could't be happier.
