Drum/Rhythm Machines?

I'm interested in getting one to practice playing my telecaster with. I looked on the BOSS site, and saw a number of models (Dr. Rhythm DR-3, etc.). I'm looking for something that will simulate a rhythm section and it needs to be key and style friendly/adjustable (Ab minor blues, for instance). Price counts, as it always does. Simplicity of operation is a good thing. Thanks!

i use my trusty Zoom Rhythmtrack 123 for a few yrs now. Real easy to use. has a Bass sim Sequencer built in too. Tons of presets of all generes. Many you wont find useful, but a good selection nonetheless. Its easy to make your own presets or build songs, but I never do that. i just take a preset, and then tap the tempo i want and practice away. more fun than a metronome.

Got it for $100 used i believe. Boss should be good too. never had one.

RE: Drum Machines

You can get an Alesis HR16B for a hundred or less. Very useful and real life sounds, easy to operate and very reliable. Check one out.

Thanks!

I'll shop around! Checked out the Boss Dr Rhythm (550) last night... pretty nice. A few more dials and buttons than I like, so I'll keep shopping.

John :)

If you want to use use headphones (and you may not) the Pandora PX4 has a rhythm section that SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD, is easy to work and can be adjusted to any key.
