NPD! HardWire HT-2 Chromatic Tuner

New Pedal Day! Yay!! I just unpacked and plugged in my new HardWire HT-2 Chromatic Tuner. I've needed a tuner pedal and wanted to give the HardWire line a test before I splurge on their Delay, Reverb or Tremolo (spendy).

Initial Impressions:
* it's heavy and seems heavy duty (I like that)
* it tuned my Tele quickly and without issue
* I tried out the Strobe Mode and it's pretty cool
* the LED isn't huge (like the Korg or GFS) but I think it'll do

I've been interested in the HardWire line because:

* they've got good reviews here.
* they seem competitive with other high-end pedals
* their stereo pedals all have stereo INs as well as OUTs

I have a DigiTech MultiChorus, which works well. It's a stereo pedal which (like most stereo pedals) only has stereo outs. Therefore, if you want stereo output, it has to be last in the chain. I'll confess that I do not--at this moment--use stereo, but if/when I do, I want pedals that handle stereo intelligently! [rant over] That's one big reason I'm intrigued by the HardWire line.

This week I'll give it a try in my church setting and I'll update you on how it works in a live situation. So far--just testing it at home--I'm pretty happy!

That's the one I use. Nice and bright. Tracks quickly. Accurate. Have had it on my board for some time now with no problems at all.
I got it because I got a good deal at my local shop and it has a very bright display. As we play a lot of outdoor shows, that was important to me.

My favorite pedal tuner for sure...but I prefer my Korg clip on at the moment.

Congrats...good choice!
