I got a Digiverb on eBay for $45. It does the job and has many options. It has an EQ knob that only affects the tone of the reverb itself which is a very good feature. It also has two outputs so you can drive two amps for a stereo effect which is very neat. Built like a tank.

Agree. EHX verbs are a bit more open and airy sounding to me, but I still like the FRV-1. I actually have the Holy Stain, but it probably has a similar circuitry to the Holy Grail. Love the verb, and the tremelo is ok, but the rest of the pedal sucks IMO - god awfull distortion and fuzz.

I have a Hermida Reverb and a Holy Grail. The HG is nice for swampy, old-fashioned verb but the Hermida is a cleaner, quieter pedal so it gets the most use.

I've been using a Holy Grail myself for quite awhile now and have been pretty happy with it, but the TC 'Hall of Fame' is pretty big on my radar right now.
I picked up the TC Flashback delay pedal not too long ago, and I must say those 'Toneprint' line of their pedals is pretty amazing!

There are a few that combine a self contained pan with a pedal style. Danelectro may still make one, and I just saw an ad for a new one in a recent guitar mag- but I can't rememeber who makes it!! It looked very nice too! sorry

Hermida Reverb 2?
Looks like this (http://www.vendio.com/stores/Hermida...-2/lid=2384688) is the next version -- same guts but smaller box?? Anyone tried one?

I have 2 that I use & am very happy with. I have a Boss FRV-1 that I got 3 years ago & have no plans to replace it. Last year I got a T-Rex Whirlyverb for my acoustic setup. The Whirlyverb has a warm spring-like sound & has a chorus built in for some cool sounds.
