New Boss Power Stack ST-2...anyone try it?

I did...and couldn't walk out of the store without it. It is IMO the best dirt offering that has ever come from Boss. It's one of the best od/distortions I've heard in a long time. Goes from simple break up to compressed searing high gain and cleans up ultra well with your volume knob.

I feel they hit a homerun here. Great range of dirt tones, bass and treble control...very versatile. The sound knob acts as a gain control and a character control at the same time. Nice to see them pull a new idea out of the hat(well, Tech 21 has done it, but it's a bit different take.).

I just got one of these yesterday. Great sounding distortion pedal. Goes from classic crunch to modern high gain. I'm glad I chose this pedal.

I like it. I wish they would have made it to let you have presets so you can have mild crunch for rhythm and then kick in the high gain for leads. But hey it only costs $99.

It cleans up so well with your volume knob and it's so dynamically responsive that I set it to the max distortion I want and just dial it down. Only downside to that is that the character and voicing changes a bit along with the gain as you turn the sound control. You just need to find your sweet spot.

Best Boss pedal going!
