"POP" when turning on/off Route 66 Comp...
The pedal is a visual sound V2 Route 66 Comp. When you turn it on or off, it makes a decently loud pop. I was just wondering if this was normal with this pedal or if it has something to do with my 1spot I'm using to power it.
I love the tone from the thing though... |

Does it still POP noticeable if you keep the output/tone/sustain mid level?? My first impression is you may be dime-ing all the settings possibly...

Tell you the truth, I had the settings so it did NOT boost the signal, it was a flat volume boost / drop. And it was doing this. And it didn't seem to matter what settings it was on. Kinda funny. I wonder if it has something to do with the true bypass...wait, are these T.B.?

Another thing I noticed is when I turned off the noise gate inside, the pop got much louder. When I turned the gate back on (trim pot at lowest, factory setting), the pop became at least bearable at room volume levels.
