Chorus>Trem or Trem>Chorus?
Is there any preferred path with these two? It seems that in signal chain searches on the net that I've seen more Trem>Chorus than the other way around.
Any technical/sound theory answers on this one or is it just personal preference? |

I do trem>chorus...just seems logical. I don't use them together anyway, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Personally, I don't consider trem a modulation effect but a gain-based effect, and so I tend to put mine somewhere after dirt but before true mod effects like chorus.
One argument for putting it after would be if you are trying to mimic the sound of trem from an amp coming last. |
