Holy Smokes! GIG-FX Wah Wah!

I was at a guitar show yesterday and saw these gig-fx pedals. The wah wah blew me away!

It's payback time my friend!

I was so taken with their Kilo Wah that I'm going to buy one to replace my RMC Picture Wah. Yes, you read that right.

If you go to their website, (link above), and watch the demo, it will give you a good idea of how cool this wah pedal is.

It has great features like, a line buffer to bump your signal a little, and a really cool on/off feature where, the pedal is off when the foot rocker is tilted back. As soon as you move it forward, the pedal is on. It's seamless and fluid in operation. It has a tensioner adjustment for the rocker pedal and you can adjust the sweep with a small screwdriver on the optical sensor. That's right, no more scratchy pots!

The envelope filter is a gas too!

Watch the demo.

Replacing a Pic Wah is a big step. You sure?

The stereo model has a volume pedal too, but it looks over complicated.

A wah is the one thing I don't have (well one of a few things). Having the auto wah and the envelope filter would also cover a couple of things I can't do.

I want a gig report when the time comes!

The Picture Wah is great but I'm not a fan of "wah maintenance." I also don't like the difficulty in adjusting the sweep on the PW.

That gig-fx wah has some very nice, great sounding effects on it that would be very useful in my pedal board.
