power suggestion

I have 9 pedals on my board along with a EB volume pedal. To power these pedals I have a One spot and a Power-all. For some reason I'm starting to get some buzz or background noise. My testing has lead to this. I removed all my pedals from my board except for one (delay) hooked it up staight. Still noisy. Removed the One Spot that was powering it and tried the Power-all but nothing changed. I have an adjustable voltage power plug that I tested also and it was as quite as can be. All the tests above were done using the same receptical.

Not sure why the one power plug was quite while the others had noise.

What can I do or purchase that will correct this issue?

Thanks in advance.

HW

Are you using garden variety 9V pedals? If you really want to nail it down, start by listing your pedals here. Maybe there's a culprit that one of us here will spot. I'm assuming that you're using quality connectors and that you've eliminated any problematic variables of this sort. I'm also assuming you're not powering a circuit that calls for its own dedicated wallwart. Further assuming that you're not using a stomp that steps up internal voltage to 18V, such as a Klon.

Having said that, I've used a lot of different PS units, including the Power-All. While it's quite possible to have noise-free operation with a bunch of peds with something like the Godlyke or Visual Sound units, it's asking a lot of them, especially if there's an oddball in the mix. Problems can sometimes be incremental in nature, and the process of elimination can sometimes determine the weird egg.

The industry standard for the working player in the trenches for quite some time has been the Voodoo Lab Pedal Power, and for good reasons. Most of the issues that I'd dealt with previously were nipped in the bud when I started using the VL PP (I have three of them). I still have the other PS units, and I sometimes use them for scaled down configurations. However, I only gig with the VLPP. I hate dealing with problems and worrying about noise issues and stuff, especially if there's an easy fix.

I bought a T Rex Fuel Tank Jr and it solved all of my buzzing problems. I was using a One Spot before.
